Job Description:

Summary

The Account Specialist, Neuroscience builds strong HCP partnerships, drives product adoption, and supports the safe and effective use of Ipsen therapies through strategic selling, account management, and disciplined territory execution.

This role is based in Atlantic Canada and covers Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies

Sales & Territory Management

• Achieve sales objectives for the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute key account plans and annual territory business plans.
• Execute the marketing Plan of Action while identifying and maximizing local territory opportunities.

Customer Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with HCP Stakeholders, with a focus on improving patient care.
• Communicate accurate, balanced product information using approved resources.
• Maintain regular HCP engagement through calls, educational programs, and peer-to-peer activities.

Administration & Compliance

• Maintain current product knowledge and complete all required training and administrative responsibilities.
• Manage territory budgets, expenses, samples, and call reporting in accordance with company guidelines.
• Conduct all activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, IMC and Ipsen Policies.

Knowledge & Experience

• Undergraduate-level university degree.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a pharmaceutical representative.
• Experience in neuroscience is a strong preferred.
• Experience promoting botulinum toxin or competing therapies is a strong asset.
• Demonstrated success in competitive selling environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required (no more than three moving violation convictions within the past three years).
• Ability to travel within the territory, including overnight, with 10-15% travel outside the territory for conferences and internal meetings.
