Job Description:

We are recruiting a Senior Analytical Development (AD) Chemist to join our MS&T Analytical Development team in Blanchardstown, Dublin. This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract role, ideal for someone looking to deepen their expertise in method development, validation, and analytical troubleshooting.

The Senior AD Chemist will support MS&T by optimizing processes, investigating unplanned events, validating analytical methods, and partnering with Quality and Manufacturing.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Provide analytical support to projects - Develop analytical methods for raw material, intermediate, in-process or API methods. The projects may focus on current commercial processes or new chemical entities under transfer to commercial organization.

  • Ensure all analytical work is documented as appropriate (Laboratory Notebook, Memo, Report).

  • Contribute to the identification of unknowns - for example, use of LCMS applicable methods and use of LC.

  • Competency in most of the following analytical techniques: HPLC (Reverse Phase, Chiral, etc.) with UV, PDA and MS detection, GC with FID and MS detection, TLC, Particle Size, ICP, IR, UV, Titrimetry, Colorimetry.

  • Communicate the results of the analytical work effectively within MS&T and other functional areas, as applicable.

To be considered for this role, you need a B.Sc. in Science (Analytical focus) and expertise in Analytical Validation requirements. Relevant experience working in a GLP environment is essential.
