IQVIA Discovery Sciences in Cambridge is seeking an Associate Technical Specialist to support our Sample Management team, helping to deliver critical laboratory operations that accelerate research programmes.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain automated laboratory platforms, including Echo, Tecan, Janus, Beckman, HighRes, Mosquito, SmartCell and Hamilton Tube Store systems.
- Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities.
- Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and on time.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- BSc in a scientific discipline.
- Laboratory experience gained through academia or industry.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and data handling skills.
- Good IT literacy and interest in automation technologies.
- Experience within Pharma, Biotech or CRO environments and knowledge of liquid handling automation would be advantageous.
