About This Role:

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting payroll processes for International and US operations, assisting in month/quarter-end close activities, and working closely with our third-party payroll processor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare payroll (bi - weekly or monthly)for exemptand non-exempt employees and monthly payrolls, for all compensation, including salaries, bonuses, and commissions
• Assist with accounting entriesforall payroll cycles as well as monthly accrual entries including wages, commissions, bonuses, vacation and travel
• Generate payroll related reports, such as biweekly expense, PTO,etc.; develop ad hoc reports as needed; work with third-party payroll processor to produce all year-end reporting and returns
• Assist with quarter-end close activities, including preparation of any auditor-requested schedules and other support
• Work with HR to ensure new hires, state-to-state movements, terminations, status changes, LOA’s, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays are properly recorded in the payroll system and documented
• Process all deductions, including garnishments, flexible spending plans, retirement plans, and benefits contributions
• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service to employees who have questions regarding their pay, deductions, or the payroll process
• Ensure that earnings from equity grants is appropriately reflected in W-2treatment
• Work with third-party payroll processor (e.g. Deel and Workday) to produce all year-end reporting and returns
• Communicate with team members, managers, business partners, vendors, and field staff to research and resolve issues
• Comply with all company policies and departmental procedures, ensuring honest and ethical conduct at all times
• Work with IT and HR to ensure integrity of data and systemsetup
• Develop expertise in supporting processes and integrations with Workday, as required
• Other ad-hoc special projects Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 2+ years of payroll and accounting experience in a multi-state payroll department with high volume operations
• Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley-compliant environment
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; must be proficient in other standard workplace applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of Workday and Deel
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation
• Strong understanding of Workday financials functional areas; Professional Services Automation (Including Projects, Customers, and Time & Expense), Procurement, Suppliers and AP,Banking and Settlement, Business assets, and all core Accounting
• Workdaycertifications
