Isabel Group is a Belgian fintech founded in 1995 by the country's main banks. Its multibank platform lets companies manage payments and accounts across different banks from a single interface. The group also runs the open banking service Ibanity and the accounting connector CodaBox.

Let’s shape the future of finance - together

At Isabel, we believe that real innovation happens when people and ideas connect

That’s why we’re building more than technology, we’re building an ecosystem.

One where every voice counts, and where your work can truly make a difference.

We’re looking for curious minds and collaborative builders. People who believe success means growing together, learning from each other, and challenging the status quo.

If that sounds like you, keep reading.

We are looking for a customer-focused and pragmatic Product Manager to shape and evolve products and capabilities that help banks prevent, detect, investigate, and manage fraud and financial-crime risks.

You will work at the intersection of banks’ operational needs, product strategy, regulatory expectations, and technology delivery. It’s a highly collaborative role, connecting bank fraud and AML teams, internal product and engineering colleagues, and senior management.

What you’ll do

Product strategy and ownership

  • Own and drive the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for fraud and AML capabilities.

  • Translate market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments into product opportunities, with a clear value proposition, success metrics, and go-to-market requirements.

  • Prioritise pragmatically, balancing customer impact, risk reduction, commercial value, and delivery effort.

  • Take end-to-end ownership: identify opportunities, mobilise the right people, drive decisions, and ensure delivery creates measurable value.

Customer and bank engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with banks across Fraud, AML, Compliance, Operations, Risk, IT, and Digital teams.

  • Gather, validate, and challenge requirements through interviews, workshops, pilots, and demonstrations.

  • Identify common needs across the banking ecosystem and turn them into scalable capabilities rather than one-off solutions.

Product delivery and cross-functional collaboration

  • Turn customer and business needs into clear product requirements, working closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Operations, Security, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Drive product discovery and solution design through to customer onboarding and post-launch improvement.

  • Challenge solution options with technical teams, weighing usability, operational impact, and security.

Stakeholder management and communication

  • Facilitate workshops and decisions with technical and non-technical stakeholders, building alignment across differing views and priorities.

  • Communicate vision, progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly, including concise, decision-oriented material for senior management and ExCo.

  • Proactively escalate dependencies, risks, and decisions requiring attention.

Requirements

What makes you a great fit

Experience and knowledge

  • At least 8 years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, product ownership, or a related role.

  • Demonstrable experience in fraud prevention, AML, financial crime, payments, or banking, ideally working directly with banks or financial institutions.

  • Good understanding of how banks run fraud and AML operations (alerting, investigations, case handling, escalation) and of the regulatory context of financial-crime prevention.

  • Experience with B2B, SaaS, platform, or ecosystem products is a plus.

Technology understanding

  • You do not need to be a developer or architect, but you are comfortable discussing APIs and integrations, data flows and data quality, case-management workflows, rules engines and alerting logic, and system constraints and delivery trade-offs.

  • Able to translate between customer needs, operational processes, business priorities, and technical teams.

Skills and mindset

  • Customer-oriented and curious: you listen carefully, uncover underlying needs, and keep track of changing fraud patterns and new opportunities.

  • A hands-on, proactive problem solver: you focus on what can be done and bring people together to move forward.

  • Able to influence without formal authority and to adapt your communication from operational users and technical teams to executives.

  • Comfortable with competing priorities and incomplete information, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Fluent in English AND Dutch or French.
