Requirements
- Grade 12
- A relevant degree is preferred
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or stock administration
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Sage Accounting
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the fruit industry will be an advantage.
Duties
- Coordinate and process procurement requests across multiple sites.
- Obtain supplier quotations and prepare purchase requisitions and orders.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Capture procurement data and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures and approval processes.
- Compile procurement reports and monitor key performance indicators.
- Assist with audits and maintain compliance documentation.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement Manager.
- Liaise with suppliers, internal departments and site representatives.
- Assist with procurement projects and supplier administration.
