ABAP Developer – Interfaces & Integration, Fiori Development, BTP Integration Suite with German

IT-Impulse is expanding to Bulgaria, with an office in Sofia, where we are building a local team of IT specialists. We represent a Software Engineering division of the international company JobImpulse GmbH with more than 9.000 employees in 51 locations in 12 countries and we act as an intermediary between the IT software development department and highly qualified IT specialists on the job market.

IT-Impulse with its offices in Seville (Spain) and Kosice (Slovakia) is the point of contact when it comes to IT Outsourcing and Nearshoring.

Responsibilities:

Operate and further develop inbound and outbound interfaces to external services, public authorities, and credit agencies, including a generic REST interface for third-party providers.

Must-have Skills:

• ICF/SICF with custom handler classes
• REST/JSON and SOAP (proxies generated from WSDL)
• Certificates and connections: STRUST, SM59, SOAMANAGER
• Error analysis and troubleshooting using SLG1 and SSL Trace
• XML transformations
• File interfaces (application server, batch input)

Nice-to-have Skills:

• OData (SEGW)
• Experience with interfaces handling sensitive personal and credit data
• Experience with seasonal and deadline-driven processes
• Basic Authentication and token-based authentication
• Fiori integration and hands-on Fiori app development

Requirements:

• German C1.
• English B2.
• Several years of ABAP OO experience, including hands-on development within the last 24 months.
• Experience maintaining and analysing third-party legacy code with limited documentation, including debugging, version comparison, and transports.
• Confident working with both SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Willingness to provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting, not just new development.
