Mid-Level QA Tester with Automation Skills - Financial/Payments Domain

As a Senior QA Tester, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial and payments domain. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of IT systems through manual and automated testing, contributing to innovative solutions that streamline financial transactions and enhance user experiences. Your main responsibilities:

• Conduct manual and automated testing activities to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Document, track, and log defects and test results accurately, ensuring clear communication of issues.
• Review and analyze project documentation to understand testing requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, and Business Analysts to interpret requirements and plan test execution.
• Address issues and risks promptly, escalating as necessary to maintain project quality and timelines.
• Create, run, and analyze automated testing scripts to optimize testing processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in testing IT systems within an international environment.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and SOAP UI.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting (Java, Selenium).
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Knowledge of UNIX, XML, and API testing.
• Willingness to develop a long-term career in IT testing.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with Cucumber, JUnit, Spring Boot, or TypeScript.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English - oral and written.
