Expert Data & Analytics Programme Manager - Financial Services

As a Senior Data & Analytics Programme Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in the financial services industry. You will oversee major data migration and platform development projects, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Your main responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex data and platform programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Lead and coordinate global teams of project managers, business analysts, and vendor partners across multiple locations.
• Develop and execute comprehensive delivery strategies, maintaining oversight of project schedules, budgets, benefits realization, and risk management.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, SMEs, and senior stakeholders to plan and forecast upcoming work streams and change requirements.
• Manage resource allocation, financial planning, and contract negotiations to ensure optimal delivery efficiency.
• Establish governance frameworks, quality assurance processes, and reporting dashboards to monitor program health and progress.
• Lead risk mitigation, issue resolution, and escalation management to keep projects on track.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance delivery culture and cultivating change management capabilities.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 8+ years of extensive programme management experience in large, global change initiatives within financial services.
• Proven track record managing platform and data migration projects, including SAS migrations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse, international teams in a matrix organization.
• Deep understanding of governance, scope management, RAID/dependencies, and benefits realization.
• Experience working with regulated financial institutions on complex change projects.
• Agile delivery expertise, preferably with certifications such as SAFe.
• Excellent communication skills in English at a fluent level - capable of engaging stakeholders from executive to operational levels.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certified Agile (e.g., SAFe) practitioner.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Background in developing change capabilities within delivery teams.
