As a Senior Team Leader - Kubernetes Platform SRE, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, supporting their Private Cloud team. You will spearhead the development, scaling, and maintenance of the internal Kubernetes platform, ensuring top-tier reliability, performance, and security for global operational excellence. This role offers a unique chance to influence cutting-edge infrastructure and drive continuous innovation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and support a small, agile team in maintaining and improving the IKP infrastructure
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and high performance of the Kubernetes platform
• Collaborate on diagnosing complex infrastructure issues, providing timely resolutions
• Support deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Kubernetes environment
• Perform root cause analysis and implement proactive reliability improvements
• Manage incident response and troubleshooting, including participation in 24x7 on-call rotations
• Work closely with global teams to align on best practices and ensure seamless operations

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts, troubleshooting, and operations
• Experience with containerization, orchestration, and Unix systems administration
• Knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills in English
• Proven leadership skills in supporting and managing small technical teams

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Service Mesh technologies
