Product Engineer

Remote work only from within Poland

We are looking for a fast-growing tech startup, a product engineer to join the team in Wrocław (PL), Gdańsk (PL), Warsaw (PL) or remotely. The company is building software for businesses that want to build and run their subscription offering. Business model-wise, it is a B2B SaaS company. Our initial and current focus has been on direct-to-consumer ecommerce businesses selling physical products, but our goal is to make components applicable in any industry where a subscription model can be applied for selling things.

About the team

The team is lean and consists only of very experienced people. We had built other successful businesses together. We’ve built some unsuccessful ones too and learned a ton from that. We’re backed by fantastic investors (Kogito, SMOK) and advisors, including domain experts from companies such as PayU, Piwik PRO, and Your KAYA. We’ve raised two financing rounds, and the most recent one is just about to be announced. In other words, we have all the resources needed to be able to focus on building the product.

The role

Product Engineer operates at the intersection of e-commerce, payments and developer tools. The product we built combines intuitive, modern UI / design with high-quality performance. We search for an experienced individual who is an engineer by heart but at the same time has a strong visual taste. Someone who knows what will work and what won’t. Someone who can pick up any product-related problem and solve it. A professional that can quickly understand the vision and execute upon it. This role exists to drive the development of our platform’s next iteration, ensuring it’s scalable, user-friendly, and developer-centric. You’ll collaborate across teams to deliver features that solve real customer problems, while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation in a lean startup setting. Our flat structure means we value long-term thinkers who are driven by impact, not opportunism. We’re as serious about building great products as we are about fostering strong relationships. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with Product and Design to shape priorities and translate them into actionable engineering work

• Helping set Product priorities that are aligned with technical feasibility thanks to your collaboration with Product and Design

• Contribute to developer team by producing code (if needed) and contributing in architectural discussions

• Making sure product features delivery is predictable and transparent

• Being able to justify technical decisions in product outcomes

• Talking to customer to gain additional edge in product building

• Promote engineering best practices and ensure they are consistently applied
