Position Summary (Must have graduated recently or be graduating in 2025)

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our engineering team in Bangalore. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about software development and eager to build a career in the technology industry serving utilities and energy customers. As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and gain hands-on experience in software design, development, testing, and support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn and support Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD activities.
• Assist in automation tasks using Python.
• Support deployment, testing, and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project tasks.
• Follow standard processes and maintain basic documentation.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs.
• Demonstrate accountability for assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Contribute innovative ideas that improve processes, product quality, and team effectiveness.
• Apply a customer-centric approach while supporting software solutions for the Utilities and Energy industry.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and contribute effectively in an agile development environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Education Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have graduated recently or be graduating in 2025.
• No active backlogs at the time of application.

Eligibility Requirements

• No prior full-time work experience.
• No prior apprenticeship experience.
• Work Model: This role follows a hybrid work model. Team members may be required to attend the office based on business needs, team collaboration requirements, and the office attendance cadence established by their manager.

Technical Skills

• No prior full-time work or apprenticeship experience.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, and Python.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong learning attitude and willingness to work with global teams.
• Good Team player, with clear oral and written communication skills
• Flexible to take up any work assignment in the project depending on priorities

Professional Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrated accountability, learning agility, and willingness to take ownership of assigned work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to software development projects through academic coursework, internships, or personal projects.
• Understanding of source control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Linux, Python or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Interest in developing solutions that support Utilities and Energy customers.
