Production Support Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Provide production and application support for payment applications, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

- Support and troubleshoot Fundtech Global Payplus (GPP), specifically MP & HC / Mass Pay modules.

- Monitor production issues and ensure timely resolution within defined SLA and service standards.

- Troubleshoot issues across Java, C++, Tuxedo, PL/SQL, and web-based applications.

- Handle incident and service request management, including issue analysis, resolution, and timely escalation.

- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical and recurring production issues and implement corrective actions.

- Support change requests, application releases, deployments, and production implementations.

- Provide on-call production support for critical payment/application issues.

- Investigate payment processing issues and ensure minimal impact on business operations.

- Coordinate with clients, internal technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders for issue resolution.

- Provide regular updates on production incidents, resolution status, and service requests.

- Identify opportunities to improve application stability, performance, and support processes.
