ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Results-driven Manufacturing Engineering Leader with extensive experience managing engineering changes, process improvements, and manufacturing change control activities within highly regulated manufacturing environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through the planning, evaluation, implementation, validation, and execution of engineering changes while ensuring product quality, operational continuity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrates strong expertise in coordinating Change Control processes from initiation through closure, including impact assessments, risk evaluations, procedural updates, training deployment, implementation planning, effectiveness verification, and documentation management. Skilled in collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Customers to ensure successful execution of engineering changes with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
Recognized for driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, improving equipment efficiency, and implementing standardized procedures that support sustainable operational excellence. Experienced in leading technical teams, developing engineering talent, and providing guidance on equipment optimization, process capability, maintenance activities, and manufacturing best practices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Lead and coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Change Requests (CRs), and Change Control activities across manufacturing operations.
- Perform cross-functional impact assessments to evaluate risks associated with process, equipment, material, tooling, software, and documentation changes.
- Ensure proper implementation of changes in compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures.
- Develop and maintain implementation plans, validation activities, training plans, and effectiveness verification strategies.
- Coordinate communication between Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and customers during the change management process.
- Manage documentation updates including work instructions, visual aids, process specifications, machine programs, and manufacturing records.
- Monitor change effectiveness and drive corrective actions when implementation objectives are not achieved.
- Support CAPA activities related to process improvements, customer requirements, and systemic issue resolution.
- Facilitate risk-based decision making using data analysis, process metrics, and operational performance indicators.
- Ensure manufacturing readiness and successful integration of approved changes into production environments.
