Under general direction, support the automation engineering department to designs, analyzes, modifies, and integrates robotics, automation, technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products. Develops, implements, and tests preventative maintenance plans, interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment, and tooling. Support investigates and documents engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with standard operating procedures. Assistant develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.

Coordinate technician team activities and complex maintenance operations; plan tasks, allocate resources, and ensure schedule adherence; oversee documentation, configuration updates, and test records; lead validation, calibration, and equipment readiness; drive reliability improvements and preventive maintenance execution; reinforce safety, quality, and compliance; interface with engineering and operations to support deployments.
