Job profile - Quality Supervisor
Location: CVG200
Shift: Thursday- Saturday every other Wednesday 6am-6pm
SUMMARY
Lead a team of inspectors and technicians to ensure the goals of sub-assembly, final assembly, MRB, and Incoming Quality inspection are obtained. Drive continuous improvement activities in areas of responsibility that will impact key process indicators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the hiring and development of Quality Inspectors across multiple areas of the facility
- Tracking of inspector scorecards and working to assist the inspectors, as required, to improve their skills
- Conduct LPA 2 and ISO Internal Audits
- Review LPA 1 findings and ensure all items are addressed prior to daily startup
- Work with Quality engineering to ensure that all new inspectors go through appropriate training for their area and pass Gauge RXR testing.
- Ensure robust QRQC problem solving process is being followed and actions implemented in areas of responsibility. Ensure Stop line matrix is triggered when appropriate.
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on SQC, QC, FNI, OBA and efficiency metrics.
- Ensure that IQC and MRB inspections are meeting defined targets.
- Participate in internal and customer CAPA’s relative to your areas of responsibility.
- Ensure Visual Aids are well understood for inspectors and work with QE’s to improve as needed.
- Be aware of new changes from ECN’s, PCN’s, Deviations, and Quality Alerts and ensure communication / training to the team.
- Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
- Create development plans for all employees to be able to advance within the organization MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 plus years of Quality Supervision or related experience in similar industry or field
