What You'll Be Doing;

  • Monitor and track performance against volume, revenue, profit and rate-per-tonne targets
  • Support the delivery of customer business plans through insightful analysis and reporting
  • Provide regular commercial reporting including sales, promotional revenue, pricing and trade spend analysis
  • Monitor revenue realisation and pricing execution to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure trade spend is accurately managed and accrued

Promotional Investment & Financial Control

  • Review promotional plans to ensure alignment with commercial and brand objectives
  • Support promotion forecasting, pricing reviews and promotional profitability analysis
  • Manage promotional databases and maintain data accuracy across systems
  • Ensure financial governance and compliance processes are adhered to
  • Support the management and submission of internal controls and SOX requirements

Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Sales teams, providing challenge, insight and recommendations
  • Support decision-making through financial analysis and commercial evaluation
  • Review trade spend accruals and investigate variances, claims and adjustments
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to support successful new product launches
  • Influence cross-functional teams to deliver volume, revenue and gross profit targets

Forecasting & Continuous Improvement

  • Support monthly forecasting, risk and opportunity reviews, and S&OP processes
  • Contribute to key business routines including commercial reviews and customer planning cycles
  • Work cross-functionally to improve processes, reporting and system effectiveness
  • Help drive continuous improvement across commercial finance activities

What We're Looking For;

- Experience partnering with Sales teams within an FMCG / CPG environment

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful recommendations

- Confident communicator who can build credibility with a range of stakeholders

- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical capability

- Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills

- Ability to challenge constructively and influence business decisions

- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset

- Unrestricted UK right to work

Desirable Experience

  • SAP experience
  • Trade accrual or trade promotion management systems
  • XTEL knowledge

Who Will Succeed Here?

You'll thrive in this role if you're naturally curious, commercially aware, and enjoy using data to tell a story. You're comfortable working at pace, building strong relationships, and partnering with stakeholders to influence better business outcomes.

If you're looking for a role where your insights genuinely shape decisions and drive performance, we'd love to hear from you.
