Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, expertise in software engineering best practices, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software applications.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards.

- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical discussions.

- Develop and integrate APIs, backend services, and application components.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver business requirements.

- Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

- Support application deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.

- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in software development and application engineering.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Go.

- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and design principles.

- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services.

- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; familiarity with NoSQL databases is an advantage.

- Experience with Git and version control practices.

- Understanding of software testing, debugging, and code review processes.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment practices, and agile development methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Experience building scalable, distributed, and cloud-based applications.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and application monitoring tools.

- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of technical deliverables.
