We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer II, Oracle EPM  to design, develop, and support Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions in a fast-paced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) organization. This role is hands-on, responsible for the full lifecycle of EPM applications - Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Tax Reporting (TRCS), Planning (EPBCS) and Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS) - with a strong focus on automation, integrations, and production stability.

You'll come in with real depth in at least one of these five applications, but you won't stay there. This role is built to stretch: you'll pick up new EPM applications, new integration patterns, and new corners of the Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM suite as our footprint expands, so your Oracle expertise compounds rather than plateaus.

What you can expect to do in this role:

• Build and maintain EPM artifacts across all five applications - metadata, hierarchies, data forms, business rules, calculation scripts, dashboards and workflows - plus the break/fix work and configuration changes that keep them production-ready
• Recommend optimizations for performance, automation, and operational excellence.
• Design, build and improve Oracle EPM cloud applications including EPBCS modules, EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS and TRCS, applying the right best practices and logic for each
• Automate metadata and data loads using Groovy scripts, EPM Automate, the Data Exchange tool, REST APIs, and Python/SQL, and build new integrations and customizations through the EPM admin interface as needs evolve
• Configure security and workflow models that hold up to audit and compliance review
• Monitor EPM environments for uptime, performance and SLA adherence, and recommend optimizations as usage grows
• Diagnose and resolve application, data, and integration issues in collaboration with finance and IT teams.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and regression testing to maintain platform stability.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Accounting and Data Engineering to turn business requirements into technical solutions, and advise stakeholders on automation, data governance and adoption best practices
• Coordinate with Oracle support and vendors to troubleshoot and implement enhancements

What we are looking for:

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on system development as a developer in any of the Oracle EPM Cloud products, including EPBCS Modules, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and /or TRCS.
• Proven expertise in scripting and automation (Groovy, REST APIs, EPM Automate, SQL, Python).

Preferred skills and experience:

• Experience supporting business-critical SaaS platforms with 24x7 production responsibilities 
• Solid grounding in financial close, reconciliations, tax provisioning, planning/budgeting and metadata management
• Skilled in performance tuning, upgrading, testing, server maintenance, backup planning, security administration, and migration
• Experience with data integration technologies (ODI, FDMEE, Informatica, or similar).
• Experience working in a global organization, supporting multiple regions
• Disciplined process orientation, attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and root cause analysis expertise
• Ability to think critically and strategically and to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels
• Adaptable to shifting priorities in a dynamic SaaS business.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and work independently.
• Skilled at effectively resolving conflict.
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent experience and education will be considered
• Oracle EPM Cloud certifications preferred
