It recruits project and construction managers, project control and planning engineers, quantity surveyors, procurement managers, document controllers, quality specialists and civil, mechanical and geotechnical engineers.
We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Director to lead procurement strategy and execution for major, complex projects in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate will be a Western-educated procurement professional with approximately 25 years of experience, including significant exposure to mega projects and preferably a strong PMC (Project Management Consultancy) background.
Requirements
- 25+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or major capital projects.
- Western education from a recognized university/institution.
- Proven track record managing procurement for mega projects in the GCC.
- Strong PMC experience is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of contracts, tendering, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and supply-chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multicultural procurement teams and work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of GCC procurement practices, market conditions, and major international suppliers/contractors.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working on high-value, fast-paced projects with demanding delivery schedules.
