Software Development Engineer 1

Responsibilities:

• Design and build modern web applications using React.js and Next.js .
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance full-stack features end-to-end.
• Translate complex AI and security concepts into intuitive user experiences.
• Develop dashboards and visualisations for system activity, policy enforcement, and user actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship product features.
• Ensure application security, reliability, and performance.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of professional experiencein software or full-stack engineering.
• Strong Computer Science background with a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development and APIs.
• Strong experience with React.js and Next.js in production environments.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: system design, performance optimisation, and debugging.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in the security domain(identity, access control, governance, monitoring, or compliance).
• Familiarity with authentication and authorisation standards (OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect, SSO).
• Experience building data-heavy dashboards or real-time user interfaces.
• Exposure to AI-driven products or developer platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, or Kubernetes.
