Role Summary

We're looking for an FP&A Manager to own the analytical backbone of a rapidly growing AI-enabled insurance distribution platform. You'll own budgeting, monthly business reviews, and long-term/cash flow modeling, and perform financial analysis  - partnering directly with leadership to help steer the business, while our outsourced accounting partner continues to own monthly close and day-to-day bookkeeping. This role suits someone from an investment banking, consulting, or FP&A background who wants real ownership over how we understand and plan the business, not just execution of an existing process.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Leadership & Operations

• Build and manage the annual budget and ongoing budget-to-actual tracking
• Prepare and present the Monthly Business Review (MBR) for the group and a growing number of subsidiaries 
• Own long-term financial modeling 
• Cash flow modeling and forecasting
• Prepare investor and lender reporting
• Partner with our outsourced accounting provider (FR) on monthly close and integration items as needed
• Lead special financial investigations and ad hoc analysis across the portfolio when something needs to be understood quickly

What you bring / core competencies

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or FP&A
• Strong financial modeling and analytical toolkit
• Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, or business review processes
• Comfortable operating with limited structure and building process from scratch
• Deep understanding of budgeting, long-term/cash flow modeling, and business reporting
• AI experience is a strong plus
