Analytical Engineer

Duties:

• Engage stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions.

• Design datasets optimized for analytics purposes.

• Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessments to ensure integrity.

• Develop Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional data models that support scalable analytics.

• Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers on building and maintaining robust data pipelines.

• Maintain enterprise data models and comprehensive metadata documentation.

• Support governance initiatives, testing, reporting, and documentation activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and dimensional modelling.

• Hands-on experience with data warehousing and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.

• Solid understanding of data governance and quality standards.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Familiarity with the following:

• Data pipeline development

• Metadata management

• Financial services industry knowledge is advantageous.
