Requirements:
  • Matric, non-negotiable
  • 4-5 years’ sales experience in the automotive sector, preferably within fleets, workshops, or retail
  • Spare shops experience and knowledge would be beneficial
  • Computer literate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Automotive product knowledge
  • Electrical, mechanical, and diesel knowledge
Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales by calling on existing and potential customers
  • Cold call potential new customers
  • Meet with potential new customers and promote products and service offerings
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or product ranges
  • Recommend products based on customer needs and current stock levels
  • Convince customers to purchase products that meet their requirements
  • Demonstrate products to customers
  • Resolve customer complaints and queries
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Report to the Sales Manager
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets and business objectives
