Financial Manager

• Manage the full finance function across multiple entities within the group
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed reporting and analysis
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate external audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation, and statutory requirements
• Manage VAT, PAYE, income tax, and other regulatory submissions
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Monitor daily and monthly cash flow forecasts and liquidity requirements
• Provide financial insights and performance analysis to support management decision-making
• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
• Drive automation, digitisation, and continuous process improvement initiatives across the business

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ Financial Management experience
• Previous experience within an SME, group, or multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as Sage Intacct or similar
• Experience with financial statement drafting software
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business environment

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance OR Equivalent CA(SA)
