Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Hospitality Management or Tourism qualification is advantageous.
- Relevant front office or hotel management qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Front Office / Reception environment.
- Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager or Duty Manager is advantageous.
- Experience in a 4/5-star hotel, luxury lodge or high-end hospitality establishment preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of hotel front office procedures and guest relations.
- Experience with Opera PMS or another recognised hotel property management system is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional guest-service orientation.
- Strong administration and organisational abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Good financial and billing knowledge.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Professional, well-presented and confident manner.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
