GENERAL MANAGER – MACADAMIA AND AVOCADO FARM OPERATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agribusiness Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8-10 years of senior leadership experience in large-scale horticultural or export-farming operations; direct experience with macadamia or another perennial tree/nut crop strongly preferred.
• Proven expertise in process design, SOP implementation, and performance control systems.
• Deep knowledge of export compliance standards (GlobalG.A.P., BRC, HACCP, SMETA, Rainforest Alliance, etc.) and regulatory frameworks, including Mozambican agricultural export requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in cost management, operational efficiency, and profitability optimization.
• Strong understanding of HSE systems and compliance management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively at a distance, with strong delegation, remote reporting, and escalation discipline, if the hybrid working arrangement is adopted.
• Portuguese language proficiency is a strong advantage given the Mozambique operating environment; English required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a structured, process-oriented mindset
