Junior Accountant

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process and reconcile payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Maintain General Ledger transactions and supporting schedules.
• Support the preparation of management reports and financial information.
• Ensure all financial information is captured accurately and timeously.
• Assist with compliance and administrative finance functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders while managing responsibilities independently in a remote environment.

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 3 years' accounting experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment will be advantageous but is not essential.
• Solid experience working on Pastel and/or Sage Payroll is essential.
• Payroll experience is non-negotiable.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical ability.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Resilient, professional, and comfortable operating in a demanding environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with exceptional time management abilities.
