Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects.
- Assist with projects involving warehouse and industrial developments.
- Support projects for private property developers.
- Assist with the design and planning of water and sewer infrastructure.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, designs and engineering documentation.
- Assist with site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants and clients when required.
- Assist senior engineers with project planning and technical requirements.
- Identify and assist with resolving technical and construction-related issues.
- Ensure engineering work complies with relevant standards and specifications.
- Assist with project reports, calculations and technical documentation.
- Develop practical knowledge and experience under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Civil Engineering Degree from a recognised institution such as UCT, Stellenbosch University or Sol Tech.
- Previous exposure to civil engineering projects will be advantageous.
- Interest in warehouse, commercial and private development projects.
- Knowledge or exposure to water and sewer systems will be advantageous.
- Good technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop professionally.
