Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage civil engineering projects from concept through to completion.
  • Work closely with private developers, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Manage civil engineering aspects of warehouse and commercial developments.
  • Design and oversee water and sewer infrastructure.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, designs, specifications and reports.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, programmes and deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Liaise with clients and provide professional engineering advice.
  • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related challenges.
  • Assist with project proposals, tenders and technical documentation.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • Civil engineering experience in private development projects.
  • Experience with warehouse / industrial developments.
  • Strong experience in water and sewer infrastructure.
  • Proven project management and technical design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
  • Professional registration would be advantageous.
