This role offers exposure to rotating and static equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, piping systems, equipment specifications, technical assessments and maintenance support.

? What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support day-to-day mechanical engineering and maintenance activities
  • Inspect, assess and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
  • Evaluate equipment performance and identify technical issues
  • Review P&IDs, mechanical drawings, equipment layouts and data sheets
  • Support equipment specifications and technical requirements
  • Assist with material selection and material requirements
  • Conduct technical research, data analysis and engineering assessments
  • Prepare technical reports, recommendations and documentation
  • Evaluate equipment, materials and engineering proposals
  • Support equipment inspections, maintenance activities and technical investigations
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering and Procurement teams
  • Ensure activities comply with applicable engineering standards and company procedures
  • Follow all HSE requirements and industrial safety practices

Technical Experience

  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, piping, rotating and static equipment
  • Mechanical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience
  • Understanding of material selection and corrosion behaviour
  • Knowledge of international engineering standards and practices
  • Ability to interpret:
    • Mechanical drawings
    • P&IDs
    • Equipment data sheets
    • Technical specifications
    • Equipment manuals and documentation
  • Strong technical analysis, research and problem-solving skills
  • Good Microsoft Word & Excel skills

? What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2-5 years’ relevant experience preferred
  • Experience in industrial plants, maintenance, mechanical equipment or engineering projects is advantageous
  • Experience in manufacturing, processing, mining, petrochemical or other heavy industrial environments will be an advantage
  • Verifiable engineering qualification
  • Saudi engineering registration/eligibility requirements must be met where applicable
