Junior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

• Compile technical and material specifications for engineering projects
• Perform mechanical design calculations and simulations
• Support the detailed design and development of pressure vessels, piping systems, and related equipment
• Review and approve manufacturing drawings
• Compile design reports and technical documentation for relevant stakeholders
• Assist with component and equipment selection
• Participate in the full design lifecycle from concept through to implementation
• Provide manufacturing and factory support as required
• Assist with supplier RFQs and technical evaluations

• Minimum 2 - 4 years' technical engineering experience
• Experience within a pressure vessel and/or manufacturing environment will be advantageous
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical design and pressure vessel principles
• Basic understanding of ASME codes and pressure equipment design will be beneficial
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar
• Ability to interpret and produce engineering and manufacturing drawings
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments

• BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering
