Professional Structural Engineer

Job Description:

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Prepare and review structural designs, feasibility studies, and value-engineering solutions
• Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with applicable standards and project requirements
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the team
• Manage multiple projects while meeting budgets, quality standards, and deadlines
• Conduct site visits and attend client meetings as required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural engineering
• Proven experience in the design of concrete, steel, and load-bearing structures
• Experience on commercial and multi-storey building projects
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software, including Prokon or similar finite element programs
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering
• Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for project-related activities
