Junior Production Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Junior Production Supervisor with warehouse experience to join our team in Jacobs, Durban. The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or factory environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily production output, managing raw material stock levels, supervising staff, and ensuring that production targets and delivery deadlines are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily production output to ensure targets are achieved.

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities and staff.

• Manage raw material stock levels and ensure materials are available for production.

• Monitor the efficient use of materials to minimise waste.

• Ensure production schedules and delivery deadlines are met.

• Coordinate warehouse activities to support smooth production operations.

• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards.

• Identify production delays and implement corrective measures.

• Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily output reports.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient production environment.

• Communicate production progress, stock requirements, and operational challenges to management.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric certificate.

• 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or factory environment.

• Previous warehouse experience is essential.

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is advantageous.

• Experience monitoring production output and managing raw material stock levels.

• Good understanding of production processes and stock control.

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict delivery deadlines.
