Life Science Sales Representative

What you will be doing

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets and gross profit objectives.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunitie s.
• Expand the company’s market presence within the life science and laboratory sector.
• Provide product information, technical sales support and tailored solutions to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activities on the company’s CRM system.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and territory updates.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and ongoing technical support.
• Manage the territory independently while maintaining professional standards and adhering to company policies.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory and undertake occasional travel to other regions as required.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in life science or laboratory equipment sales.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be based in or near Pretoria.
• A BSc degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of molecular biology or previous laboratory experience.
• Established relationship s with research and academic institutions, particularly:
  • University of Pretoria
  • Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)
  • Agricultural Research Council (ARC)
  • Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)
