Requirements

Grade 12 with relevant tertiary qualification

At least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position with knowledge of general farm administration / finance

Knowledge of an accounting package

Proficiency in Excel

Sound communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

Manage a small team

Provide accurate reports re monthly wages & other expenses

Support management with variance reports

HR administration, UIF, PAYE & all relevant payments, as well as overseeing wage payroll

Administer food safety systems and prepare for annual audits (Global Gap, SIZA, etc)

Monitor spray and fertilisation records

Oversee stock control and recordkeeping

Bank payment responsibilities

Ad hoc tasks and support to the Farm Manager
