Operator: Mechanical Plant, Grade 3 candidates who meet the following criteria:
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African Identity Document
Minimum Requirements: Drivers’ licence code 14(EB and EC) to Code B. Up to 3 years of relevant on the job experience and competency certifications, if applicable. Must pass departmental proficiency test.
Descriptors: Check, operate and perform basic maintenance on plant.
Core Functions / Characteristics :
- Operate the following mechanical plant: Scraper -elevating, asphalt paver, dozer class 4 (LPG)-swamp, excavator-loader (TLB), crane-hydraulic, grader-haul roads.
- Perform basic maintenance on mechanical plant.
