What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Control engineering drawings, technical specifications and quality documentation
  • Manage document numbering, revisions, version control, routing, distribution and archiving
  • Perform quality and metadata checks before documentation is issued
  • Maintain an accurate Document Master Register
  • Maintain and audit the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
  • Prepare, issue and track formal transmittals
  • Coordinate documentation between project teams, contractors and external stakeholders
  • Track outstanding submissions, reviews, approvals and rejected workflows
  • Produce weekly and monthly document-control status reports
  • Support internal and external quality audits
  • Compile and index final project handover dossiers and construction/manufacturing data books
  • Ensure documentation complies with required quality procedures and applicable ISO 9001 / ISO 19650 standards
What We Need
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Diploma, degree or formal training in Document Control, Project Information Management or Quality Management
  • 2-5 years’ proven Document Controller or Quality Administrator experience
  • Previous exposure to an Engineering, Construction, EPC or Renewable Energy environment strongly preferred
  • Strong practical understanding of document control, revision control and technical documentation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with EDMS platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint or Asite
  • Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping accuracy
  • Strong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage strict project deadlines
  • Knowledge or training in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 19650
  • Experience preparing documentation for project completion and client handover
