Audit Manager

• Manage varied audit engagements and interact directly with SME decision-makers.
• Combine technical audit work with client service and practical problem-solving.
• Take responsibility for engagements from planning to completion, rather than being confined to a narrow specialist role.

• Lead and review external audit engagements, ensuring quality, efficiency and timely completion.
• Manage client communication, audit planning, budgets, risk assessments, working papers and final reporting.
• Review annual financial statements and resolve accounting, audit and compliance matters.

• CA(SA) qualification and soon to be or current IRBA registration as a Registered Auditor (RA)
• Strong recent external audit experience, ideally gained in a small or medium-sized audit practice.
• The confidence to run multiple engagements, supervise staff and engage directly with clients.
• Sound knowledge of ISAs, IFRS for SMEs and relevant South African reporting and regulatory requirements.
• A practical, organised and approachable style, strong judgement and pride in high-quality work.
