In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and operating refrigeration plants. You will also troubleshoot refrigeration equipment and systems, overhaul equipment, and construct small to medium-sized refrigeration plants.

You should have an Artisan qualification (industrial refrigeration trade test), although other trade qualifications may be considered with appropriate refrigeration training and experience. Certification to work in ammonia refrigeration plants (CAT B) is required, along with at least 5 years of experience in Ammonia systems. Proficiency in planned maintenance systems, a solid understanding of electrical control circuits, and familiarity with food processing freezers, ice plants, and slurry systems are essential.
