Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Business related tertiary education, or an accounting background, or sales related experience will be beneficial
  • Ability to perform administrative office tasks & support on behalf of the sales department
  • Must be fully computer literate in MS Office applications, specifically Excel & Outlook
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in English. Strong communication skills with ability to interact with customers
  • An understanding of customer service fundamentals
  • Be able to work with strict timelines & function well under pressure
  • Pay attention to detail and be accurate in performance of duties
  • Have good administrative and organizational skills
  • Be willing to work overtime as and when required
  • Be pro-active and use initiative
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise matters as presented
  • Be approachable and can assist in the resolution of problems
  • Be well presented and have good communication skills
Roles & responsibilities:
  • Perform sales administration functions, including capturing sales orders, reconciling sales orders and dispatches, maintaining sales-related filing, and interacting with customers
  • Ensuring high service levels to customers, by following up on orders, deliveries and customer queries
  • Support credit note, invoice or delivery-query resolution
  • Compile & maintain accurate sales & administration reports & documentation as instructed
  • Develop knowledge of the product range, sales ordering process, customer database, etc
  • Interact with customers in a professional, trustworthy and honest manner maintaining a high level of integrity
  • Perform tasks within the company procedures & policies
  • Perform production administration support as & when required
