Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the courier and logistics sector.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct client visits, presentations and sales negotiations.
- Prepare quotations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Work closely with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent client delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline records.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 3-5+ years' proven sales experience within the Courier, Logistics or Express Delivery industry.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong new business development and hunting experience.
- Existing industry contacts and a strong understanding of the local market would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management abilities.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Computer literate, with experience using CRM systems.
