Sales Representative

New Business Development

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality market.
• Prospect, cold call, and generate leads to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Conduct regular client visits and sales presentations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions.
• Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Research market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop long-term relationships with new customers.

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Conduct regular account reviews and client visits.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and retention.
• Resolve client concerns in a professional and timely manner.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Update CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
• Liaise with internal teams regarding customer requirements and product availability.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in external sales, business development, or a similar field sales role.
• Proven track record of new business acquisition and target achievement.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout South Africa and occasionally into neighbouring countries.
• Experience working with CRM systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience selling into the hospitality, wholesale, FMCG, or related sectors.
• Established network within the hospitality industry.
• Cross-border sales experience.
• Knowledge of export and regional business practices.
