Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow the existing customer base across the Eastern Cape.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
• Achieve agreed sales, volume and net profit targets.
• Conduct cold calling, prospecting and client visits to generate new business.
• Contact prospective clients and present proposals.
• Meet daily and weekly customer call and prospecting targets.
• Secure new customer accounts and achieve agreed site acquisition targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Provide timely and effective solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
• Keep management informed of market developments, customer requirements and new business opportunities.
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate asset registers and complete the required reporting.
• Travel extensively throughout the Eastern Cape to service customers and develop new business.
• Take accountability for achieving regional sales, volume and profitability targets.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.
• 1-3 years' sales experience.
• Experience in the fuel industry will be advantageous.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the Eastern Cape.
• Good knowledge of the Eastern Cape and commercial market.
