- Evaluations should be based on capability, quality certifications,
cost competitiveness, lead time adherence etc
- Maintain a category-based sourcing strategy for all technical
commodities in your scope of work
- Collaborate with the Engineering Departments to understand
technical drawings, material specifications and product
functionality to ensure accurate procurement
- Conduct technical assessments of supplier offerings to verify
compliance with company standards
- Support the Procurement Team with complex technical
purchases by providing detailed insights and verifications
- Initiate and complete all RTD forms for the Procurement
Department
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities through alternative
sourcing and vendor innovation
- Establish and conform to Company and Supplier requirements
according to ISO9001:2015 (current or latest certification
standard)
- Serve as the liaison between the Engineering and Procurement
Divisions to resolve discrepancies or clarify product
specifications
- Assist in Supplier Audits and qualification processes from a
technical standpoint
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product developments,
technical trends, and markets availability of parts and
components
- Prepare technical documentations and sourcing reports to
support Procurement decisions
- Always adhere to the Code of Ethics with all purchases
