Threat Hunter
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive and hypothesis-driven threat hunting activities.
- Investigate indicators of compromise and potential security incidents.
- Analyse endpoint, network and security telemetry for suspicious activity.
- Develop and improve threat detection rules, queries and hunting techniques.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field is required.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications will be advantageous.
- Threat intelligence or digital forensics qualifications will be advantageous.
- Additional information security qualifications will be advantageous
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, SOC, incident response or a related security role.
- 5+ years of experience in threat detection and security investigation.
- Strong hands-on experience conducting proactive threat hunts.
- Experience working with EDR/XDR and SIEM platforms.
Skills
- Threat Hunting and Threat Detection.
- EDR / XDR and SIEM.
- MITRE ATT&CK and Threat Intelligence.
- Incident Response, Malware Analysis and IOC/TTP Analysis.
