Treasury Risk Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the delivery of Treasury Risk and Financial Risk Management projects from end to end
• Advise on treasury frameworks, governance, policies and processes
• Work across liquidity risk, funding risk, cash management and treasury operational risk
• Provide insights across balance sheet management, ALM, FTP, capital management and hedging
• Support intraday liquidity, cash flow forecasting and funding planning
• Work with stakeholders to identify risks, regulatory requirements and opportunities for improvement
• Support the implementation and review of Treasury systems
• Contribute to business development, proposals, thought leadership and market-facing initiatives
• Lead and develop a diverse, multidisciplinary team

We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years’ relevant experience
• Strong experience in Treasury / Treasury Risk / Financial Risk Management
• Exposure to financial services including banking, insurance or asset management
• Strong understanding of corporate treasury operations
• Knowledge of ALM, FTP, liquidity risk, capital management and hedging
• Understanding of the macroeconomic and regulatory environment
• Experience with Treasury systems and post-implementation reviews
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• B.Com Honours in Finance/Commerce or similar, CA(SA), CFA or equivalent professional qualification
