Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily yard activities and allocate staff duties.
  • Ensure products are handled, stacked and stored correctly.
  • Monitor product quality, stock levels and discrepancies.
  • Oversee accurate order preparation and safe loading.
  • Maintain housekeeping and enforce workplace safety procedures.
  • Report operational issues, equipment faults and staffing concerns.
Requirements
  • Previous yard, warehouse or dispatch experience.
  • Proven staff supervision and team leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of stock control, product handling and loading procedures.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing or building materials experience advantageous.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a hands-on, on-site role.
