The Lab Filtration and OEM Specialist is responsible fordriving the Discovery Cytiva OEM/Custom Lab filtration business for standard and custom ranges in Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg with a strong focus on new and reoccurring Custom business to our biotech, academic, pharma and industrial customers.

This position reports to the European Lab Filtration Sales Manager and is part of the Lab Filtration business unit and will be fully remote to cover Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg#LI-EB1

• You will be also responsible to work with the DAM/Discovery Sales Specialists to manage direct and indirect strategy for Lab Filtration -support, motivate, train.

  • Create end user demand for both direct and indirect customers and spend at least 70% of time in the field
  • Motivate, encourage and support distributors to promote Lab filtration ranges in named key accounts
  • Sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users and decision makers
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Cytiva and competitive products
  • Actively use CRM system (Salesforce.com) to ensure transparency and total customer management
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions
  • Demonstrated ability for prioritization and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience of presentations to promote new business growth.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Degreed professional with experience from the field of filtration applications, products and preferably +3 years of consultative sales experience • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays plus valid driving license
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated and proven ability for time management and prioritization, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and working independently as well as with a team
• Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products • Experience in working with distributors preferred
