AI/ML Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI/ML Developer based in India.

This is an exciting opportunity to build and deploy practical AI and machine learning solutions for a large global client.

You will work across predictive analytics, NLP, generative AI, automation, and emerging Agentic AI applications.

The role combines hands-on development with cloud technologies, big data, databases, and modern machine learning frameworks.

You will help transform complex data into scalable AI applications that deliver measurable business value.

Your work will span the full model lifecycle, from development and training through deployment, optimization, and maintenance.

Accountabilities

• Develop, train, deploy, and maintain machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, clustering, and other practical business applications.
• Build AI-powered solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Leverage cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with technologies such as SageMaker, Lambda, S3, and Vertex AI.
• Integrate, fine-tune, and deploy Hugging Face transformer models, including BERT and GPT, for NLP applications such as text classification, summarization, and sentiment analysis.
• Develop AI automation solutions, including chatbot applications using Microsoft Teams and Azure AI.
• Work with large-scale data processing technologies such as Apache Spark and Snowflake.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines supporting data quality, transformation, and analytics requirements.
• Manage and query databases including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, while optimizing performance and data workflows.
• Create interactive data visualizations and business insights using platforms such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Develop AI-driven applications using Large Language Models, including model fine-tuning, training, deployment, conversational AI, text generation, and summarization.
• Design and implement Agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making, task adaptation, learning, and real-time optimization.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI applications and data solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders while adapting to new AI technologies, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience applying AI and machine learning to practical, real-world applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of fundamental algorithms as well as object-oriented and functional programming principles.
• Proficiency with data analytics and scientific computing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with big data processing technologies, particularly Apache Spark and Snowflake.
• Practical knowledge of NLP and AI model implementation using Hugging Face and cloud-based AI services.
• Strong understanding of database management, data quality, query optimization, and data processing.
• Experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models and emerging generative or Agentic AI technologies is highly valuable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach complex technical challenges logically.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a distributed team and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new AI technologies, frameworks, and approaches.
